ARDENCAPLE FC’s girls’ team recently received a much-needed boost in the form of a donation from Dunbritton Housing Association.
The social landlord, which owns properties in Helensburgh, Cardross, Rhu, Garelochhead, Rosneath, Arrochar, Succoth and Lochgoilhead, as well as in Dumbarton and Alexandria, is a long-standing supporter of Caple’s efforts to spread the football gospel among the area’s young people, and continued its sponsorship of the club’s girls’ team by donating £200 to its funds.

The cheque was presented to the team, which is run by Connie Smith, on Dunbritton’s behalf by Caple ambassador, and former Celtic, Scotland and Dumbarton legend, Murdo MacLeod.
Caple are on the lookout for new players for all their boys’ and girls’ teams – anyone interested in playing for the club, at any age group level, should contact club secretary Euan Birss on 0795 442 0778.
