LUSS boxer Hannah Rankin has started 2020 on a winning note on two fronts as she aims to recapture her world championship title.
The former Hermitage Academy pupil defeated former world champion Eva Bajic in the third round at the Lagoon Centre in Paisley on Saturday night, after dropping her to the canvas three times.
It was the 29-year-old's first fight since losing her IBO super-welterweight title to Sweden's Patricia Berghult in November.

And the day after the bout, the 29-year-old added to her honours out of the ring, when she was named 'Female Boxer of the Year' by the Scottish Ex Boxers' Association, receiving her award from former Scots world champion Ken Buchanan.
Posting on Instagram after the fight, Rankin issued a challenge to Berghult, saying: "You beat me, legged it back to Sweden and no ones heard from you since."
