SIXTEEN members of the Druids Curling Club filled all four rinks at Greenacres in Renfrewshire recently for the club’s annual pairs competition.
The format of the competition sees the pairs drawn randomly and each player throwing three stones per end.

Each team played four ends against their first opponents, after which the winning pair on each rink moved on and played another pair for the remaining four ends of the match.
The winners at the end of the afternoon were Margaret Morrison and Linda Moffat, with most shots up, while the runners-up, by a narrow margin, were Susan Mathieson and Jean Howie.
