Ex-Premier League midfielder Jamie O'Hara claims Bournemouth would be a bigger job than Rangers and that Steven Gerrard should consider a move to the Cherries.

Bournemouth recently lost long-term manager Eddie Howe after their relegation from English football's top tier and are on the lookout for a new boss. And the former Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves star suggested that Gerrard would find himself in a better job in a more competitive league should he be offered the role at Dean Court.

"I wouldn’t want to disrespect the Rangers people because they are a huge football club," he said on talkSPORT. "But it’s a bigger job to potentially be the Bournemouth manager. Rangers are a huge, huge football club but for me there’s only two clubs in Scotland.

"With Bournemouth, they’ve just dropped out of the Premier League, to get them back into the Premier League, they are a higher profile football team. I would take the Bournemouth job, it’s a bigger job."

O'Hara recently claimed former Celtic defender Kieran Tierney was the only Arsenal player he wouldn't have SACKED through their poor form before they went on to lift the FA Cup last weekend.
