ARDENCAPLE FC has become one of just 50 youth football clubs across Scotland to receive a UEFA Euro 2020 Glasgow Club Legacy Pack to help their young players.
The Scottish FA teamed up with Glasgow Life to release the packs to enhance the provision of grassroots football activities in Scotland, celebrating Glasgow’s role as one of the tournament’s host cities.
Caple will use the Euro 2020 branded equipment – including balls, bibs and goals – to cater for more than 300 of their registered players.
The club, holders of the Scottish FA’s platinum quality mark, has been rewarded for demonstrating excellent community links by providing a fun, safe and secure environment for players of all abilities to enjoy football.

This includes an intake of 40 new players between the ages of five and seven, who join the side following a delayed start to their football journeys as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Robert Holland, a member of Caple’s executive committee, said: “We were delighted to hear that we had been successful in winning a UEFA Euro 2020 Legacy Pack as Scotland’s hosting of the competition is so unique and we wanted our young players to benefit from the occasion as much as possible.
“The equipment will assist efforts to open our doors to new members as we aim to increase the number of boys and girls participating in football within the club.”
