THE Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club's regatta takes place next weekend - and the club is inviting members and non-members alike to come along and join in the fun.
The RNCYC clubhouse in Rhu will be the focal point for a series of events over the weekend of August 19 and 20, with racing taking place on the East Patch off Helensburgh.
There will also be a non-racing challenge to give families and non-racing boats the opportunity to be part of the regatta.
That challenge will comprise a set of tasks which can be completed in any order, with points being scored for accurate completion and use of imagination.
There will also be a barbecue at the RNCYC clubhouse in Rhu on the Saturday evening and a prize-giving ceremony on the Sunday.
The notice of race, along with an entry form and more info about the weekend, is available at www.rncyc.com/event-information.
