TICKETS are still on sale for a special charity concert in Helensburgh next week featuring two of the area's most highly-prized musical groups.
The concert, being organised by the Helensburgh Rotary Club, takes place at the Victoria Halls on Tuesday, June 6 – the 73rd anniversary of the D-Day landings on the beaches of Normandy – and will feature the West of Scotland Military Wives Chior and the HMS Neptune Volunteer Band.
Tickets, priced £10 (£5 for under-16s), are available from Stewart Travel in Sinclair Street and G. & S. Coyle Fish Merchants on West Princes Street, and, subject to availability, at the door on the night.
All proceeds from Tuesday night's concert will go to Help for Heroes and the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.
