A PROGRAMME of events enabling local people to meet some of the resident artists at Cove Park on the Rosneath peninsula begins next week.
‘Hands-On Cove Park’ begins with a special edition of ‘Lights Out Listening Group’, hosted by Mark Vernon, taking place in almost complete darkness and allowing visitors to experience some of the innovative audio creations produced by talented musicians, artists and radio producers.
To take part in the first Hands-On event head along to Cove Park on Tuesday, June 6 – admission is free and you can drop in any time between 6pm and 7.30pm.
Cove Park is also inviting bookings for two summer art workshops for children.
The Beach Combing Holiday Art Club runs from August 24-28 and is open to young artists aged 12-18, while the Inner Reaches of Outer Space, another holiday art club, runs for five mornings from August 7-11 and is suitable for children aged 6-9.
