The family-run Ardgarten Hotel was named the country’s top hotel as part of TripAdvisor’s Travellers Choice Awards 2014.
Owned by Lochs and Glens Holidays, the hotel beat stiff competition from luxury hotels in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

The Ardgarten, which is set within 50 acres of parkland, also boasts panoramic views of Loch Long from the hotel’s elevated position within the Argyll Forest Park.
The rear of the hotel is overlooked by the iconic Cobbler, one of the peaks that form the famous Arrochar Alps.
It is open especially to Lochs & Glens holidaymakers, the luxury coach tour operator provides exclusive access to the Argyll and Bute hotel which has been ranked top for customer satisfaction in Scotland.
The Choice Awards are based solely on the reviews and comments from travellers. The results propelled the Ardgarten Hotel to first in Scotland and 16th in the UK.
