PUPILS at Kilcreggan Primary School had a warm and unusual welcome back to school.
Piper Harvery Ferguson, piped the pupils back into school on their first day last week.
Primary seven pupils at the school led the children and staff into the building while parents watched and enjoyed the entertainment.
The new primary one pupils were the last to enter the building, giving them the chance to provide parents with one last big smile and cheerful wave before starting school.
Frances Bretman, Head Teacher at the School, said: “The parents of the primary one pupils afterwards commented on what an exciting way it was to start their primary school careers.”
