LOCH Lomond News has been crowned the Topps Collectable Product Retailer of the Year.

Andrew Howell of Loch Lomond News received the prestigious award from Steve Conner from Topps and Nick Ferrari who hosted the 2016 NFRN Awards in London.

Andrew received the award in recognition of the way he promotes trading cards and other collectable products.

The judges said: "Over the past four years Lomond News has built up an enviable but much deserved reputation for its range of collectables. Not only does owner Andrew ensure that he has all the current ranges in stock, they are available in all formats from mega tins to boxes and multipacks and are on sale right up to the recall date.

"You won't just find football stickers on Andrew's shelves as he stocks Pokemon, yu-gi-oh, magic and vanguard trading cards too. All forms of social media are used to publicise new and best selling lines while posters promoting the ranges are displayed prominently in-store. You could say that when it comes to collectables Andrew is the Topps!"

The NFRN Awards are awarded annually for excellence in news and convenience retailing, rewarding those who have made an outstanding contribution to the sector.
