ONE of the most distinctive buildings in the Helensburgh and Lomond area will feature on prime-time TV this weekend.
Craigrownie Castle in Cove is one of the buildings set to feature in a BBC programme on Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson, to be broadcast on Sunday, April 2.
The hour-long programme will be presented by Scottish actor David Hayman
In ‘Greek Thomson – Glasgow’s Master Builder’, Hayman goes in search of Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson – the visionary architect who transformed industrial Glasgow with some of the most exotic and exciting buildings in the world.
In the run-up to the 200th anniversary of his birth, Hayman takes a tour of many of the buildings Thomson designed and loved, meeting people who now live in some of these amazing architectural gems, including Craigrownie Castle.
