THE Helensburgh branch of Alzheimer Scotland are inviting people to sign up for what they hope will be a very memorable memory walk.
People are invited to sign up and join the team at Colquhoun Square as they take a leisurely walk along the sea front, visit Kidston Park and finish up at the Dementia Resource Centre and Community Cafe.
The walk doesn't focus on the circuit or the distance, it focuses on the community and determination and aims to raise awareness of dementia while enjoying fundraising.
Registration is now open, the fee for adults is £10, those aged 12-16 the fee is £5 and under 12's go free. The entry fee only covers the cost of putting on the event so participants are encouraged to fundraise to ensure that noone faces dementia alone.
