POLICE are appealing for witnesses after receiving a report that a man was brandishing a claw hammer at others in a disturbance outside a block of flats in Helensburgh.
The incident took place outside the common close at James Street at 10.10pm on Thursday, July 13.
The man alleged to have been responsible for brandishing the hammer is described as being around 40 years old, with greying hair, and was wearing a black hoodie with paint splatters on it. He also appeared to be carrying a tool bag.
