POLICE are appealing for information after a man was attacked in an underpass at a Helensburgh railway station.
The 42-year-old man needed treatment from paramedics for a facial injury after the attack at the Craigendoran station underpass, between the station platform and Dennistoun Crescent, at around 10.40pm on Saturday.
Police say the man's attacker was around five feet eight inches tall, and was wearing black shorts, a black waistcoat and black trainers at the time.
Anyone who has any information about the attack is asked to contact DC Salkeld at Helensburgh police office or to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
