THE organisers of a popular annual concert in Helensburgh that has raised more than £13,000 for charity have announced that they’re bringing it back to the local stage for a fourth year.
Matinee at the Musicals 4 will take place at Hermitage Academy on Sunday, February 26.
The concert – the first since February 2020, as a result of the pandemic – starts at 2pm and all money raised from ticket sales will go to the Beatson Cancer Charity and Rainbow Valley, which empowers people to take a holistic approach to living with and overcoming cancer.
Tickets cost £12 (£10 concessions) and are available in advance from Shooftie, 49 West Clyde Street (cash only) or from the Rainbow Valley website.
Before Covid intervened three years ago, the Matinee at the Musicals series had drawn in full houses for concerts in 2018, 2019 and 2020, raising money for charities fighting cancer.
