Tickets have gone on sale for a family-friendly wrestling show which is coming to Helensburgh this summer.

Community Pro Wrestling (CPW) has announced a show at the Victoria Halls on Sunday, June 18.

The event in Helensburgh will be a first for CPW, which regularly hosts shows across Glasgow.

The organisers say people can expect to see all their CPW favourites, as well as "hometown hero" Daihlan Hendry.

He will be joined by Ashley Vega, Tallon Jr, and Krobar, with more to be announced in the coming months.

CWP is run by Ravie-Davie, who will also appear in Helensburgh, and held its first show in Govan in October 2021.

Since then, the company has organised and sold out nine shows across Glasgow and Renfrewshire. The team behind the shows are now branching out, with another also planned in Ayrshire on June 4.

Ravie-Davie said the strong community spirit in Helensburgh was one of the factors which drew him to the town.

He added: “The community of Govan is one of the reasons why I’ve gotten to where I am, and I’m going to keep giving back there.

“I want to move over to these new communities too. Helensburgh is maybe a wee bit different to the places we’ve gone to before, but I know it’s very community-based.”

Those who buy tickets for the show can look forward to seeing a WWE-inspired show with a Scottish twist.

Ravie-Davie said: “I like to say my shows are like a circus. There’s going to be something for everybody – even if you don’t like wrestling.

“There’s going to be something for the kids, for the mums, dads, brothers, sisters – even the staff."

Ashley Vega added: “We have the best up and coming independent wrestlers in Scotland on the show. It’s all family-friendly, so it’s a great opportunity for kids who love wrestling on a budget.”

Tickets for the show are prices at £10 for adults and £7 for children. Family tickets, which cover either two adults and two children or one adult and three children, are available for £28.

Tickets are available from Eventbrite.
