Helensburgh’s ‘hometown hero’ and a Burnistoun star will take to the ring in the town’s first ever professional wrestling match this weekend.

Local man Daihlan Hendry is billed to appear alongside top comedian Robert Florence during an evening of family friendly wrestling on Sunday, June 18 in the Victoria Halls.

Three one-on-one matches are set to take place, with Daihlan going up against Krobar, Ronan King fighting The Wanderer, The Sam Barbour Experience going up against Tallon Jr.

There will be two team matches with The Renegade Wrex and JTT fighting Termination Z (Ross Hauser and DARO SSJ) and The Govan Team (Ravie-Davie, Cousin Zander and Steg) going against the Foundation of the Future (Zach Dynamite, Ryan Riley and Bruiser Brad Evans).

Top comic Robert is set to make a special appearance at the event.

As of June 13, only 30 tickets are left for the show – meaning anyone who wants them will have to act fast.

Adult tickets cost £10, child tickets cost £7, and a family pass costs £28 which gives entry to two adults and two children or one adult and three children.

The event is set to last around three hours has been organised by Community Pro Wrestling.
