Helensburgh foodies will have their chance to try another Scottish eatery as the town’s pop-up street food market returns next week.

Gourmet street food kitchen Ghillie Dhu Mobile Scullery will be serving seafood at the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre on Friday, August 25 from 5pm to 9pm.

The mobile restaurant is based in South Ayrshire but sometimes travels to different areas for functions and events – and so people across the country can have a taste of their food.

A representative from the civic centre said: “Come along to the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre to experience some fantastic pop up food.

“Come down between 5pm – 9pm for your Friday night takeaway.

“We will have a handful of seats outside too if you fancy eating out.”

Next month’s stalls have already been announced as Mama Del’s Filipino street food will come to town on Friday, September 8 and Little Texas BBQ will pay Helensburgh a visit on Friday, September 22.

Restaurants who are interested in taking up one of the pop-up stalls should contact the Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre events team by emailing HLCCEvents@argyll-bute.gov.uk or calling 01436 658886.
