A NEW programme in 2024 will help Helensburgh and Lomond residents live their best lives possible in the community.
The area's health and social care partnership (HSCP) is planning its Living Well programme to offer support depending on need and improve physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing.
Services could include one-to-one support for rehabilitation, working with NHS physio departments, and wellbeing support workers.
It could also include group-based programmes focused on "empowering people" to make changes to improve their quality of life.
The HSCP said in Helensburgh there would be opportunities to make the community a place where people support each other.

They said the goal is working together so residents live "longer, and healthier, independent lives".
Linda Currie, associate director for Allied Health Professionals (AHP’s) for Argyll and Bute HSCP, said: "I am excited to be part of the team implementing the wellbeing pathways, I want to thank our partners for working with us collaboratively and look forward to the service being launched for people across Argyll and Bute."
Wellbeing support workers are planned for Helensburgh and other communities.
A Living Well Board is made up of a merger of the Prevention Board and the Public Health Living Well Board.
It has funding from Argyll and Bute HSCP, Macmillan Cancer Care, and Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface.
