Keen canoers looking to improve their experience are being encouraged to attend an upcoming talk.
Helensburgh Canoe Club's latest event will see Pete Baker give an illustrated talk on the joys and pitfalls of kayaking without relying solely on paddles.
He will show how a standard sea kayak can easily be modified to include a mast and sail.
Pete will also explain the types of sails available, as well as the likely cost of installing a mast and sail.
This talk is ideal for those who are interested in turning a normal F3 paddle into an exciting experience.
The event will take place at the Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club in Rhu on Wednesday, January 10, starting at 7.30pm.
Admission costs £3 for club members and £6 for non-members, with tea, coffee, and biscuits provided.
