A local charity helping Helensburgh and Lomond locals living with multiple sclerosis (MS) treated residents to a "wonderful" Burns Day lunch.
The Dumbarton and District MS Group celebrated the day by having a meal at the Rosslea Hall Hotel in Rhu on Thursday, January 25.
Robert Ryan addressed the haggis and treated the group to a selection of Burns’ poems, as well as information about the iconic Scottish bard.
Group coordinator Sheena Rollo said: "Everyone had a wonderful time, and we were very pleased and privileged to have Robert Ryan address the haggis.
"Robert was wonderful, he shared his amazing knowledge of Robert Burns telling the group lots of interesting historical facts relating to Robert Burns.
"He sang a few of Burns well-known songs and recited his poetry. [It was] an absolutely fabulous afternoon."
Louise and Douglas Smart from Helensburgh said: "It's been a great day, we loved it.
"Huge thank you to Robert Ryan and to the committee for putting it all together."
