A young Helensburgh swimmer has struck gold after triumphing at the Scottish Schools Swimming Finals.
Lance McMahon, representing Hermitage Academy, swept to gold in the 100 metre freestyle race at the event.
Lance, who trains at Helensburgh Amateur Swimming Club, based at Helensburgh Leisure Centre, was delighted by his win.
Head coach Simon Kershaw Yates said: "Lance has been working hard this season and this win is well deserved."
Lance will now compete at the Scottish Championships later this year.
HASC is open for new swimmers and interested families should check out the 'Helensburgh Amateur Swimming Club' page on Facebook.
