A MAN will appear in court later for an alleged assault and possession of a weapon.
The 67-year-old from Garelochhead was arrested around 5.10pm on April 4 over the reported assault at an address in the village.
He was also alleged to have possession of a weapon and was subsequently released by police.
He will appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.
