A 55-YEAR-OLD woman is recovering in hospital after the vehicle she was driving was involved in an accident on the A814 at Cardross.
The woman suffered a serious head injury and an injury to her hand in the three-vehicle accident, which happened at around 7pm on December 22.
She was taken for treatment to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, where her condition is described as stable.
Police Scotland's local road policing unit are investigating the incident, and have asked any members of the public with information to contact police on 101.
