A KILCREGGAN woman has admitted driving a car while more than five times over the legal limit of alcohol on her breath.
Kirsteen Capon, of Meikle Aiden Brae, Kilcreggan, was in an accident on July 8 this year, on the B833 near to Millbrae, Kilcreggan, hitting another car before driving off.
Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard on Friday, August 4 that the 47-year-old failed to stop after the accident and provide her name and address.
When she was finally stopped by police in St Modans Way, Rosneath, she was found to be driving with 114 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 22 microgrammes.
Sheriff William Gallacher deferred sentence on Capon until August 25 for social background reports previously ordered. Bail was continued.
