A 56-year-old man was arrested and held in custody for court following an alleged incident at a licensed premises on West Clyde Street in the early hours of Sunday, July 20.
The man is currently banned from Helensburgh public houses under the Pubwatch Scheme, and had entered the pub in breach of a ban.
When staff requested him leave he allegedly became abusive and attempted to assault staff members.
The man is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with alleged assault, disorderly conduct, and police assault.
