Ian Muir, now of Kyle Road, previously admitted stealing the vehicle in July last year.
Appearing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last Tuesday, Muir, 26, was told he would have to return to court to hear his fate.
That’s to allow for the preparation of criminal justice social work reports.
He will return for sentencing on August 21.
