The congregation was celebrating the Harvest Festival at its Messy Church event, which is attended by many families in the village.

Jim offered to give fun rides around the church grounds in his giant John Deer tractor to make the harvest celebrations all the more real.

Later on the children and the adults built their own rainbow coloured tractor out of recycled cardboard boxes.

Cardross Church holds a Messy Church event once a month for families with children. The aim of Messy Church is to allow families to have a couple of hours together enjoying arts and crafts, games, singing worship and company of others over a shared meal.

It is completely free to attend although donations are welcome and help the cost of providing the food.

The next Messy Church will be held on Saturday, October 25 and will feature a Halloween and Bonfire night party. All families are welcome.

Please check the Cardross Church Facebook page for further details.
