At Tuesday’s area committee meeting, elected members agreed to suspend the charges on Saturday, November 29 and 30, following a request from the event organising committee.
As part of the event, the pier car park - behind the swimming baths and the site compound - has been earmarked for a fireworks display.
The organisers intend to section off the car park with the assistance of the police from 8am until the end of the display about 6pm on Sunday November 30.
