A 19-year-old male was assaulted in the Old Luss Road area, near to East King Street, at around 12.15am on Sunday, July 26.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where he was treated for lacerations to his face then later released.
Detective Sergeant Kathleen Mobeck of Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Division said: “Police enquiries are continuing into this incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Old Luss Road and East King Street between midnight and 1am on Sunday, who may have witnessed this assault, or who have any information that may assist police enquiries to contact Police Scotland on 101.
"Alternatively CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
