ARDENCAPLE FC’s 2007 squad celebrated a season of success at their annual prize-giving night recently.
Awards went to Rory Caldwell as the manager’s player of the year, Oscar Jamieson as the players’ player of the year, and Jack Flemming as the most improved member of the squad – while there was also a ‘thank you’ gift from the players to coach Martin Caldwell for his hard work with the players over the course of the season.
The club’s 2006 squad also held their end-of-season presentations, with Charles Livingston chosen as player of the season, Jock Cordner as players’ player of the year and Ryan Murphy the most improved player.

After a poor start to the campaign Caple’s 2006s gradually moved up the standings as the season progressed, eventually finishing in fourth place.
