Kirsty Scott has been assisting with the running of HAAC’s Run/Jump/Throw group for around 18 months,, having initially started helping the group as part of her Duke of Edinburgh’s silver award.
However, despite completing this last year, she has continued to help with the sessions on a weekly basis.
Having seen such impressive levels of dedication and enthusiasm, the coaching staff of the Run/Jump/Throw group thought it fitting to show Kirsty their appreciation by presenting her with the Young Volunteer Silver Award Certificate.
The award was presented to Kirsty last week by Scottish Athletics Regional Development Manager Liz Francis.
A spokesperson from Helensburgh Athletics Club said: “Many congratulations and thanks go to Kirsty from all at HAAC for all her hard work and this well-deserved recognition.”
