The day was made all the better by the sunny weather as dozens of families turned out for the event.
The club arranged free coaching for juniors and adults as well as host of fun and games provided by CBF Tennis, who provide coaching services for local tennis clubs. Another highlight of the day was a visit from Scozzese Pizza who provided everyone with a free pizza.
Outgoing club president Bobby Kerr was delighted with the turnout, he said: “We have a great programme of coaching and tennis activities for everyone this season.
“For adults our Saturday morning club will continue throughout the season as well as beginner and improver coaching. For the youngsters we have a full programme of coaching from under fives to teens, including match practice sessions and tournaments. I look forward to moving from my role as president to junior convenor.” The club’s annual general meeting takes place at the club on Thursday at 8pm.
