BOOK lovers in Helensburgh and Lomond will be able to borrow from their local library 24 hours a day, seven days a week when a new mobile app goes live across Argyll and Bute later this week.

The BorrowBox app, which is being launched across LiveArgyll's libraries in the area on Thursday, March 7, to coincide with World Book Day, means you can access books around the clock via your phone, your iPad or your home computer.

Incorporating a dedicated eBook reader and eAudiobook player, the free app, which can be used online and with Apple iOS and Google Android devices, is already available from the App Store and Google Play.
