A HELENSBURGH woman was allegedly almost four times the legal alcohol limit when she was found at the wheel of a car.
Police responded to a call on Tuesday evening, November 17, concerning a female who was reportedly in the process of driving off from Lorne Street whilst under the influence of alcohol.
When officers arrived on scene, they allegedly spotted a woman behind the wheel of a Hyundai vehicle, and she was later identified as a 26-year-old from West Princes Street.

The woman was required to provide a sample of breath for analysis which, according to police, confirmed her to be over the drink drive limit, resulting in her arrest.
Further samples of breath were taken reportedly showing a reading of nearly four times the legal limit.
The woman was charged with being in control of the vehicle whilst over the limit and she was released when sober to appear at court in January.
