TWO men were arrested near Helensburgh last week for a number of driving, drugs and weapons-related offences.
Police were contacted by a concerned member of the public on Thursday, November 26 regarding the manner of driving of a red Citroen C1 on the A814 Cardross Road.
Officers stopped the vehicle between Cardross and Helensburgh at around midnight and both males within the car were detained for a drugs search.

The driver was reportedly found to be under the influence of drugs and was arrested; a search of the 46-year-old allegedly resulted in the recovery of a quantity of diazepam tablets and a quantity of white tablets.
According to police, a lock-back knife was also discovered inside the vehicle, along with a hammer and a quantity of heroin.
A search of the passenger, 26, allegedly resulted in the recovery of a hammer, a quantity of diazepam tablets and a quantity of white tablets.
The pair, from Alexandria, were arrested and taken to Clydebank police office. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
