ORGANISERS of events in Helensburgh and Lomond can now apply to a council fund for support.
Argyll and Bute Council’s strategic events and festivals fund opened for applications for its fourth round of funding last Friday.
The fund is open to events and festivals taking place between April 2022 and March 2023 which are of strategic importance to Argyll and Bute.
This year, carry-overs from previous years mean that the total fund is over £150,000 - a larger pot than usual.
The council is keen to encourage as many applications to the fund as possible, as events are likely to draw in visitors from outwith Argyll and Bute.
